The Artiste & Teacher
Natya Suputri Vidushi Tejaswini S is a Bharatanatyam artiste and teacher, and the daughter of Smt. Usha N and Sri Srinivasa N. She is a disciple of Guru Vidushi Smt. Komala Raghavendra and Guru Vidushi Smt. Padmaja Jayaram, whose teaching has shaped both her dancing and the way she passes the art on.
With more than twenty years of training in Bharatanatyam and a Master’s in Performing Arts (Dance) from Jain (Deemed-to-be University), her journey has moved between the classroom and the festival stage, between solo performance and ensemble productions, and through it all she has continued to teach. Swayambhu Nritya Sadhana is where she now shares that experience with students of her own.

Parampara
Her first steps in Bharatanatyam were taken at Karana, the institution run by Guru Smt. Shubha Dhananjay. Her foundational training came under Guru Vidushi Smt. Komala Raghavendra in the Thanjavur Bani. She later trained under Guru Vidushi Padmaja Jayaram at Sri Naatya Kalaarpana Nritya Kendra in the Pandanallur Bani, giving her grounding in two of the art form’s great stylistic traditions.
Her Master’s studies at Jain University widened that foundation further, under a distinguished faculty.
